What is storytelling for me?

• (Digital) Storytelling is the activity of sharing a story through different means being the written/spoken word the main channel. 

Why Digital Storytelling in class?

• Digital storytelling has a great potential in a language classroom on many different levels. As far as productive skills are concern, we can have students write a story related to the contents covered in a unit so as to put everything they have learned into practice. As far as receptive skills are concerned, you can create yourself a story with contents (grammar and/or vocabulary) so as to activate students' previous knowledge, to show an example of a story they could tell or to do a listening/viewing activity. 

Expectations and goals 

• I want to learn more about the theoretical and technical framework of digital storytelling with views to applying all the contents learned into my lessons of German as a foreign language.
